This is a part time role 15 to 20 hours per week working, working hours are flexible.

How you will make an impact  

As an Operations Risk Assessor within our broking team, I play a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our operations. By conducting comprehensive audits, I not only ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements but also proactively identify areas for improvement. My recommendations are aimed at enhancing our internal control framework, thereby mitigating risk and supporting the overall resilience of our business. 

About you  

Qualifications  

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other risk management certifications. 

  • Compliance certifications like the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) may also be beneficial. 

Experience  

Industry Experience: 

  • Significant experience in risk assessment, auditing, or compliance within a relevant industry, such as finance or insurance. 

  • Experience in handling regulatory compliance and internal controls. 

Audit Experience: 

  • Practical experience in preparing for and conducting audits. 

  • Experience in documenting audit tests and findings and communicating results to management. 

Reporting Experience: 

  • Proven experience in preparing management reports and handling data analysis. 

Customer Service Experience: 

  • Experience in handling complaints and customer interactions. 

Skills & Attributes 

  • Ethical Integrity: Commitment to working within the confines of ethical and regulatory guidelines. 

  • Proactive Attitude: Willingness to accept ownership for new and different requests and explore opportunities to add value. 

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations, industry trends, and organisational needs. 

  • Experience of using Acturis / Broking platforms  

  • Fully proficient in MS office
