How you will make an impact

As a Health and Safety Consultant at Clear Risk Management, you’ll provide expert advice to clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering positive workplace safety cultures. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, with potential to move into a management position as our team grows.

This role involves regular travel across the UK, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. To support you in delivering effectively, the position includes a car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive technical toolkit.

While this is not a team leadership role at the outset, we are looking for someone with previous leadership experience who is keen to further develop their people management skills as part of their career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety Consultancy:

  • Advise clients on compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
  • Develop and implement bespoke safety management systems.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring full compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and report incidents promptly.

People Development:

  • Support team performance and career development.
  • Foster an inclusive and high-performance culture.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Improve service delivery, optimise resources, and drive continuous improvement.

About You

Attributes: Skills: Qualifications

Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage.

Essential:
 

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards).
  • Experience in Health and Safety consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • UK Driving Licence and willing to travel across the UK.

Desirable:

  • Experience in commercial or construction sectors.
  • Additional Health and Safety qualifications.
  • Team leadership potential.
