How you will make an impact

As a Health and Safety Administrator, you will provide vital administrative support to the Health and Safety Consultancy team. This office-based role will see you assisting with daily tasks, maintaining Health and Safety records, and liaising with clients and suppliers. Full training and back-office systems will be provided. As the team expands, there will be opportunities for career progression and upskilling into a consultancy role.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including responding to queries and coordinating team tasks.
  • Maintain and update Health and Safety records and documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing client correspondence.

System Management:

  • Maintain internal systems, ensuring Health and Safety compliance records are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and update databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
  • Support report preparation, compliance checks, and general administrative duties.

Client Liaison:

  • Provide support to clients, offering basic information and assistance.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and partners for smooth service delivery.

About You

Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a Health and Safety or regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and best practices (training will be provided).
  • Experience with Health and Safety management software or databases.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
