How you will make an impact 

As an Account Executive within our Personal Lines Team at Clear Group, you will play a vital role in delivering bespoke insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Drawing on our team’s broad industry expertise, you’ll support high-net-worth individuals by managing personal insurance portfolios with professionalism and care. Your focus will be on developing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships, ensuring that each client receives the exceptional service and comprehensive protection they expect. 

You will contribute to the team's continued success by managing renewals, identifying new opportunities, and offering expert advice that adapts to clients’ evolving circumstances. With a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills, you will uphold regulatory compliance and Clear Group’s high standards of service, while deepening your knowledge of personal lines insurance products. Your work will directly impact client satisfaction and portfolio growth, helping to strengthen Clear Group’s reputation as a leader in personal insurance. 

Key Responsibilities 

Client Relationship Management:  

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with personal lines clients, ensuring their insurance needs are understood and addressed.  
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, providing advice, and offering support throughout the policy lifecycle.  
  • Regularly engage with clients to ensure their portfolios remain adequate and aligned with their needs.  

New Business Development:  

  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and word-of-mouth to expand your client base.  
  • Work closely with senior team members to present suitable personal lines insurance solutions to potential clients.  
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting the generation of new leads and assisting in the closing of new business opportunities.  

Renewal and Policy Management:  

  • Assist in the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring renewals are completed on time and ensuring policies reflect their current needs.  
  • Support in negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients.  
  • Regularly review client policies and update them as needed to ensure they reflect any changes in risk or life circumstances.  

Compliance and Risk Management:  

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FCA regulations and Clear Group’s internal policies.  
  • Assist in explaining policy terms and conditions to clients, ensuring they fully understand their coverage.  
  • Ensure that all client documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant standards.  

Collaboration and Teamwork:  

  • Work closely with colleagues, to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients.  
  • Contribute to achieving team goals by supporting shared objectives and maintaining a positive working environment.  
  • Communicate openly with your team and escalate any issues or challenges in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.  

Market Knowledge and Industry Engagement:  

  • Stay informed on trends in the personal lines insurance market, such as new products, policy updates, and industry changes.  
  • Participate in relevant training and development activities to enhance your understanding of personal lines products and industry best practices.  
  •  Share insights and feedback with your team to help improve service standards and client outcomes.  

About You  

Attributes: Skills: Qualifications 

Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage. 

Essential  

  • Experience working in an Account Executive or customer-facing role within the insurance industry, specifically in personal lines.  
  • A basic understanding of personal insurance products, such as home, motor, and travel insurance.  
  • Experience working with insurance platforms and client management systems (e.g., Acturis or similar).  
  • A growing understanding of compliance regulations, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations.  

Desirable

  • Working towards or willing to study for relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Cert CII).  
  • Experience in assisting with renewals, new business development, and managing client queries.
